1. What sets Santanna Energy apart from other retail suppliers?
Santanna Energy Services has been in the alternative energy supply business for over 27 years, acquiring a vast amount of knowledge and experience along the way. It is through this knowledge and experience that we have managed to remain a privately held company to this day. As a privately held company, we maintain a smaller company feel while still being able to adapt to the dynamics of this ever changing industry.

2. What states/regions do you serve and how long have you been serving them?
We currently provide service in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. We have been serving Illinois for 27 years, Michigan for 10 years, Indiana for 4+ years and Ohio for 4 years. Within Illinois, we service the Local Distribution Companies (LDCs) of NiCor, Peoples Gas, North Shore, ComEd, and Ameren. In Michigan, we service the LDC?s of Consumers Energy and DTE (formerly MichCon). In Indiana, we service NIPSCO, and in Ohio we service Columbia Gas, Duke Gas, Duke Energy and First Energy (Toledo Edison, Ohio Edison and The Illuminating Co.)

3. Any exciting plans (promotions, state expansions, etc.) in the next 6-12 months?
We have recently started our ?Going Green? initiative to reduce the use of paper as much as possible. We ask our customers to join us in this initiative by agreeing to receive correspondence and general information via email, Facebook, Twitter and other social media, rather than postal letter.

Santanna also supports the development of youth in our communities. In 2015, we sponsored dozens of local youth sports teams. This will expand into 2016 as we continue to support the communities we live in, work in and service customers in.

4. Is there a signup fee for switching gas/electric service to Santanna Energy?
There are never any sign up fees!

5. Once a customer signs up with Santanna Energy, what role do you serve to them?
Santanna is a full service retail energy provider. We deliver the energy you use, directly to your utility company. We are here for you every step of the way with our dedicated customer service team. We believe in providing superior customer relations with all of our services.

6. If an existing customer has questions or concerns, what?s the best way to contact you?
We have several resources available for contact, any of which we encourage customers to use.
