Southern Federal Power LLC launched in July 2019 as Genie Energy's entry into the Texas retail electricity market. Genie Energy Ltd (NYSE: GNE) is a Delaware corporation incorporated in 2011 that owns 100% of Genie Retail Energy, which also operates IDT Energy, Residents Energy, Town Square Energy, Evergreen Gas & Electric, and Mirabito Natural Gas across the Eastern and Midwestern United States.
