Texas is one of roughly 15 states or so with a deregulated energy market.  85% of the state of Texas is deregulated.  This means that in Texas, businesses have the option to choose their electricity provider. Instead of being forced to go with one or two utilities like in regulated markets, electricity providers open the market to competition.

We’ve put together a list of a few electricity providers that offer Texas electricity rates and plans to small, medium, and large businesses.  As you work your way through the list, keep in mind that it certainly is not extensive.  There are many, many more electricity providers in the state of Texas.  Our purpose is to provide a launching pad from which a commercial business can use to better understand and explore their energy options.

Requesting Quotes for Commercial Energy

With very few exceptions, Electric Choice can almost always obtain rates better than what you see on the web.  We’ve worked with providers offering commercial energy rates for years and have built long-lasting relationships with almost every company out there — we know who to ask and what to ask to get the best rate and plan for your business.

We’ve built our business since 2002 off of referrals (keeping our customers happy), not fancy advertising, slogans, or gimmicks.

For much larger commercial buildings (think electric bills $XX,XXX a month), we even have the ability to hold reverse auctions allowing companies to bid for your business in real-time.  This is just one of the ways we can ensure that you get the absolute best rate possible for your business.
